Kia ora, welcome to Now Yoga.
A trained yoga and Pilates instructor, I have always been passionate about movement. I used to dream of being able to dance when I was younger but the realisation that rhythm was a must put a spanner in the works pretty early on! That's ok with me as I found yoga, and it is my form of dance. Every class gives me such a wonderful feeling of freedom and a sense of happiness, that I only get from yoga.
Pilates is my medicine helping me to care for my body after many years of competitive sport and after having a family. For me the balance of yoga and Pilates is exactly what my body needs. Yoga is my tonic. I am looking forward to sharing my passion and expertise to help you wherever you are on your yoga journey.

Tim Christie is a New Zealand-based designer and artist. He has developed some of New Zealand’s most iconic brands including identities for The Interislander, Radio New Zealand and New Zealand Wine. His work has featured prominently in New Zealand and Australian design awards and been published internationally.
In 2017 Tim released a collection of digitally generated visual art. This initial body of work emerged from a series of explorations where he examined the intersection between geometric design and anatomical forms. In particular, he enjoyed playing with the curious space or ‘void’ between abstract and representational art.
Starting with limited edition digital prints his collection now includes original paintings, lightboxes and weavings.
Tim’s work captures a wide audience and he has experienced rapid success in New Zealand and abroad, where he won an award with the UK’s largest fine art group.
His unique style has been described as a modern synthesis of Op Art, Pop Art, Street Art, Geometric Expressionism and De Stijl.
Tim has shown in a number of international destinations including Sydney, Hong Kong, London, Manchester, Chester, Edinburgh, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He is represented by galleries in New Zealand and overseas. His pieces now adorn the walls of collectors from Australasia, North America, Asia and Europe.
